I got deffered ED and in Regular. Anyone else out there got in? WHO ELSE IS PUMPED!

Accepted With Awesome Fin Aid!

I am going to apply ED to Wharton next year. Is it true that Wharton is much harder to get in than the UPenn college?

You bet it is. The Wharton acceptance rate was something like 13% last year. Given the overall school was 21%, College had to have been 24-28%.

Wow, congrats Reeze. You definitely deserved it the first time around.

And you're way off on those numbers. Wharton is 11-13%, College is 16-19%. Wharton is marginally harder to get into than the College, but M&T and Fisher are REALLY hard to get into.

SEAS and Nursing bring the acceptance rate up (or drag it down, depending on your point of view).

I was talking about LAST YEAR's rates, which were in fact 13.6% for Wharton. Since 75% of acceptances were for College and Wharton, it would be near physically impossible for both entities to have acceptance rates below the 20.8% for Penn as a whole.

I'm sticking with my numbers as being VERY feasible.

thanks JPPS! I believe you're going to Wharton as well?

Nope, CAS for me. I better get an early start on treating the Wharton kids like gods.

Well, new Wharton people, soon you'll be able to join us in our private forums on Studentalk. Oh, by us, I mean ED people...we're all looking forward to seeing you!!

deffered ed and in

Congrats to all the Wharton acceptees. As a fellow 2010 Whartonite, I will see you all this Fall.
