I don't understand why it dropped (don't mean to sound naive) Any opinions?

To sell magazines

It’s probably an indication that the differences between the top 3 or so schools is marginal. Since a portion of the ranking process is surveys and other qualitative feeback it is likely that the top X will rotate, which they generally do.

You would be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks Notre Dame or even UVA are better than Wharton.

You are only naive in assuming that Businessweek has a remotely legitimate ranking system.

The difference is pretty huge actually, those two aren’t even in the same league as Wharton when it comes to the two things that matter: academic quality and job placement.

I agree with jnpn, Businessweek has absolutely no credibility now. Just use USNews, they have business major by specialization (finance, marketing, management, etc)

You may think I’m biased but I know very few Wharton students filled out their surveys because it was sent to students in their spam folders
