that really doesnt help that much.

I think wharton is a little smaller...

Normally there are around ~4,200 applicants of those about ~650 are accepted and approximately 400-500 enroll...This past year I believe they only accepted 475 (instead of ~650) search the DP for the article. So the overall acceptance rate ranges from ~11% to ~15% (+/- 2%)...However if you look at the breakdown of ED vs. RD there is a much bigger difference as during ED they take about ~200 (from about ~900 applicants - 22% +/- a few points) while RD they accept anywhere from 275-450 from ~3300 so for RD the acceptance rate is about 8% to 14% depending on the year.

I was reading some other thread about wharton and the acceptences. Does wharton require a picture of the student?

i really don't remember if the penn application required a pic or not...but by looking at the women on campus i'd guess that it's not a major factor. :)

hey,
I just wanted to ask about an internal transfer to wharton. Right now I'm not really sure of what I want to do cause I like science (physics) and business. So I'm gonna take courses from both areas and then decide.
Well, I basically wanted to ask if there are any internal 'tranferees' to wharton on cc, and what was their gpa?

last year a lot of my friends tried to transfer into wharton and the only ones that got in had above a 3.7...I believe that 3.7 was the cut off...some years it's 3.6 depends on the competition.

How does the adcom look at Wharton applicants when they review the applications since wharton does not look at the applications?

ahhh so you CAN internally transfer to wharton! And here someone else on the board was saying that wasn't possible. So if I'm planning to apply to transfer to UPenn, should I transfer to the main college first as an Economics major and then try to transfer? Will that be easier? Anyone know external transfer stats for Wharton, not UPenn overall.

You can't transfer from another university to one school within Penn (like the College) and then try to transfer internally to another school (like Wharton).

You can only transfer internally if you matriculated to Penn as a freshman. This is all on their website.
