Wharton admissions stats

Approximately how many students are accepted into Wharton each year and what is the acceptance rate? How does ED for Wharton compare with college/nursing?

Penn doesn't publish stats for each school. they like to showcase themselves to be one big happy family. But the number of freshman places at wharton undergrad is ~ 500.

wasn't accept rate last year for wharton 12 ish percent give or take?

i heard wharton ed was 9%, wharton rd was 5%

ok i checked overall wharton is 650/5500 each year, which is approximately 12% total

Wharton accepted only 471 this year (plus maybe a few more--less than 10, I'd guess--off the waiting list):

The overall acceptance rate was in the 9-10% range, the ED rate was higher than that, and the RD rate was lower than that.

Significantly, Lee Stetson (remember him?) reported to the trustees over the summer that for the first time, the ED pool of admitted and enrolled students (for all 4 schools) was "stronger" than the RD pool of admitted and enrolled students (see pages 5-6):
