Wharton Admit Rate

Upenn is actually neither the easiest nor the hardest Ivy to get into.

Harvard is the hardest, with an acceptance rate of 7%. Cornell is the easiest, with an acceptance rate hovering at 19%. Upenn’s is 18%

Of course it’s not the hardest Ivy to get into. The whole point of it is to show how ridiculous gugopo’s statement is by stating the exact opposite statement to his.

Penn’s admittance rate actually dropped to around 15% this year, I think. All the Ivy admittance rates fell for the class of 2014.

Cornell definitely has a larger population than Penn.

I just checked student enrollment on the Cornell website. With fewer graduate/professional students than Penn, Cornell actually has fewer total students on its Ithaca campus than Penn [whether one includes part-timers or not].

^ The 3 largest student populations (undergrad and grad) in the Ivy League are Harvard, Columbia, and Penn (all very close in overall size).

And Penn’s overall admit rate dropped to around 14% this year.

My b, I was referring to the undergrad population of Penn and didn’t factor in the part-time/grad students.
