Wharton applicants already into Stern?

So I saw in a thread that quite a few people were applying to Wharton and I was just curious if any of you applied/have been accepted into Stern or any other notable business school for that matter? Just curious if other people are in the same boat as I am.

I've been accepted into Stern which gave me a ray of hope of Wharton but only time will tell.

Tepper at CMU for me =D Quant power!

ive gotten into stern at nyu and csom at BC …rejected by mcdonough at georgetown though which makes me almost positive that im not getting into wharton

I’m applying for Wharton, too (my first choice).

Got accepted at USC Marshall, NYU Stern, BC Carroll, CMU Tepper, BU SMG.
Waitlisted at WUSTL Olin, Georgetown MSB, and UChicago (Econ). :expressionless: Rejected at Duke (Econ).

I’d trade it all for Wharton. :D

I also applied to Wharton!
Got accepted to NYU Stern, Emory, Rice, and my safeties
I also was accepted to my top choice, Cornell - Hotel School. I would love love love to attend the Hotel School, but it would be hard to turn down Wharton. I will probably still end up at Cornell even if I am accepted, but it sure will make it a tougher decision!

I got into Georgetown School of Foreign Service (not the business school, I know, but still a unique program) and Carnegie Mellon - Tepper.

I didn’t apply to Stern, but I applied and was accepted to NYU’s CAS. They offered me honors program and full tuition.

I was accepted to NYU Stern, USC Marshall, and BU School of Management. Does anyone know how good Marshall is overall? What are job/internship opportunities in/out of college?

LOTS of job opportunities for Marshall, especially in CA. Lots of USC alumni there. Same for internships.

My friends at Marshall say most people end up working in cali, particularly LA. I haven’t seen as many USC kids in NY

Yes, I got accepted into Stern. And it looks like I’m attending, too. Unless I get into Wharton, of course :P.

Waitlisted stern, accepted Ross pre-admit and CMU Tepper, Deferred Wharton ED. Hopefully it’ll work out tomorrow :)

I didn’t get into Tepper and got waitlisted at WashU so I guess that doesn’t bode well for Wharton but they all make independent decisions. Scary thought that by tomorrow we’ll know everything…

-raises hand-

accepted to NYU stern (BPE)
but I actually applied SFS to georgetown and was accepted (international political economy)

as you can see I like business+politics ;)

Yeah, I got into Stern too. It’s between Stern and ILR at the moment, of course Wharton is the trump card though.

yeah i got into stern and mcdonough at gtown, but i didnt even bother applying to wharton. i liked upenn too much to lower my chances of getting in my applying to wharton :x

I got into:

NYU Stern

Boston College Honors CSOM

Georgetown McDonough

Miami U (ohio), Farmer direct admit

Ohio State (Honors Fisher)

I’m hoping I can add Wharton to that list at 5PM this evening, but you can never guess what admissions decided :(

nikeboy3004:
woah that’s weird I was admitted to Stern, rejected from Ross. O_o

it seems to me that the acceptances this year were really odd. I was accepted to Stern and VSB (Villanova school of business). Those are the only other schools that I applied to besides Wharton. We will all see what happens though, less than 5 hours!!!

got waitlisted by weatherhead (CWRU)…so that probably means that i’m already rejected by Wharton since my application was submitted

btw…I applied to Tepper also and i haven’t received any decisions…how did you guys get it already??? it says on the website that mails are sent on april first and we will be notified via email 2 days later…were you ED applicants?

Brown, CMU’s decisions have been posted on “Where am I in process” since Sunday.
