Hey, I have some questions about the prereqs for Wharton. I am currently self studying Ap calc AB and am going to attempt to place into my schools AP calc BC. My question is, does Wharton require two years of calc or am I good with just taking a higher level calc course?

For your best chances at admission you should be maxing out what math your high school offers and taking the toughest courseload you can. However, if you aren’t on track to take BC Calc, I would say there are more important aspects of your application than whether or not you took one calculus course. Wharton accepts students with no calculus in high school, but you’re better off applying not trying to be the exception to a rule.

if your HS offers calc BC and you don’t take it, you better be on the Olympic team or have a very rich alum parent. Honestly, do whatever you have to to get into that class. And yeah, BC alone is sufficient; AB is not necessary.
