Wharton...calculator?

What s the calculator of choice? Thanks

Have both graphing and scientific calculators on hand.

Is a TI-83+ sufficient for MATH 104/STAT 101-102? When do I need to purchase a financial calculator?

???????????????

dear god this thread is ridiculous. some kind of graphing calculator that you know how to use (if you're buying one now, get a ti89) is good for some classes, and a simple scientific calculator is all you're allowed to use in other classes. i would say that most classes have you doing homework in excel, and doing math on tests that doesnt require a calculator

for reference, you are not allowed to use calculators on math department tests.
