<p>I am early decisioning!</p>

<p>SAT: 2160
ACT: 32, just retook, hopefully 33 or 34.
SAT II: Math 2 (760), US History (760), French (taking in October)
APs: Macro Economics (self-studied) - 4; US History - 5; Psychology 5 (have to fulfill a lot of prerequisites to actually take AP classes at my school)
Taking: AP Calculus AB, AP US Government, Honors Economics, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics C, AP Language</p>

<p>GPA: unweighted (4.0), weighted (4.5)
Rank: 5/330 - very competitive grade</p>

<p>Hook: First generation, mom is a single mom, dad passed away when I was young, very low income.</p>

<p>Extra Curricular:
Work at a towing company as a dispatcher (11, 12). This takes up a LOT of time.
Red Cross President/Founder (10,11,12)
Volunteer Tutor/Created tutoring program at my school (11,12)
Ignite Mentoring Program/Leadership Program (11,12)
Volunteered @ a hospital but had to stop because of job (9, 10, 11)
In my school’s highly competitive STEM program (9,10,11,12)
JSA (9,10,11,12)</p>

<p>Did an intensive French program last summer where I studied French five hours a day five days a week for two months.</p>

<p>I know my extra curricular aren’t GREAT, but I have honestly done this whole college thing completely by myself and my school isn’t very informative, so this is the best I could do, and I only did things I enjoyed.</p>

<p>I think your EC’s are fine…it’s better to have a couple you were passionate about than many you just did for college. Good luck.</p>

<p>You’re in. Out of curiosity, which JSA state are you in? I was in the Southeast Territory (although now it’s the Southeast State, evidently).</p>

<p>Don’t worry about extracurriculars, it seems like you are passionate about your interests and that is what will show. A lot of people do extracurriculars for college and then stop when they get there because there is no more compelling reason to continue. That’s not what Penn wants.</p>

<p>I think you definitely have a great chance at CAS. Not so sure about Wharton, just because its redonkulously competitive.</p>
