Wharton course load

Hi,

I am hoping to do an exchange next year at UPenn, studying business.

Just wondering, how Wharton students find the study load? I have the option of doing 3 or 4 subjects.

Will I have time to party and hang out if I do 4 subjects?

Thanks :)

4 classes? that’s like the minimum…you’ll probably be bored

I’m partying with 6 classes (3 of which are honors) and work. Calm down, it’s not as hard as people like to make it seem.

True, you can certainly take 6 classes and still have time for partying, but if you want to truly maximize your party experience, why not go for 3 classes? 2 classes or even 1 class would, of course, be even better, but it may be difficult to maintain your status as a full time student. Plus, even though 3 classes may limit your quantum of partying relative to 1 or 2, you can still optimize within that constraint by not attending lectures and studying at the bare minimum level necessary to eke out passing grades. I think you will find Penn offers you more-than-sufficient opportunity to achieve your objectives in college.
