Asian, male, very competitive high school (sent nine students to Ivy League out of a graduating class of 965...four to Stanford, three to Caltech, and a ton to UCB/UCLA), upper middle class, first generation in America, parents both went to college, Dad is a Chinese Professor w/ PhD.
