Wharton Deferral

About how many kids would they take RD that they've deferred ED? Would I get a boost for applying ED or am I just viewed as any other RD applicant?

Do they look for an increase in grades? Anything I can do to help my chances of getting in RD?

I know they say 10% of deferred are accepted RD, is this overall?

Also hoping to know an answer to all of these above questions. Would taking another SAT 2 in January with a good score help?

@The Great Laxer- I heard the 10% was somewhat accurate overall for Penn with the class of 2012, but they didn’t release those statistics for the Class of 2013 so nobody can be sure.

@geroll- Honestly, I doubt it. If I were you, I would approach the situation as follows: move on, and plan to attend another school. Complete your apps and make a decision. If Penn is your dream school and you are accepted in the Spring, what a nice and pleasant surprise
