Wharton Early Decision

what is my chance of getting in early decision if i really dont have much leadership, as in Vice President/President/Secretary...etc.

My SATs are decent

2230 [790M/750CR/690W]
Math IIC: 800
Chem: 750
7AP's - All 5's

4.33 Weighted GPA, aprx top 6%

5-6 good ECs, including a sport
various awards

Where'd your other thread go? You could've just bumped it.

no leadership no talk

do you consider leadership to be such things as volunteering in a retirement home, or being a part of NHS and such?

Captain of a varsity team, editor on a newspaper, position on the student council, organizer of a charity event, etc. These are all leadership positions.

So you're telling me i have a close to zero chance at Wharton?

This is how it is: Your sat's are above average, your SAT IIs are too, your GPA and rank are good enough, but NO ONE knows how they interpret the other factors like extracurriculars and just HOW MUCH weight they put on leadership positions. Obviously, leadership counts, but just how much and is it enough for them to reject you? Who knows. I'd say you have a chance.

u have a decent chance

do you apply directly into wharton or do you go to the general college and then choose what school you want to go to.

directly to wharton. u can apply just to the school....but its hard to get into Wharton after that (need like a 3.8 GPA at an Ivy League college...pretty hard to do).

but its a little bit easier to get into just the college than Wharton.

Do you have absolutely NO leadership? If you don't have any, it's going to be very tough, as that's the one thing wharton really wants in extra curricular activities...but even the smallest amount of leadership with your other credentials could give you a fair chance
