Wharton ED or go for more with RD? Help!

I want to go into business, and I've heard applying ED to Penn gives you a boost. I don't know whether I should apply ED to Wharton or wait and apply to more schools like Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. Are the benefits of applying ED worth risking binding myself to Penn? I just don't want to get rejected regular decision and feel like if I had applied ED, things would have turned out differently. Thanks!

If you really want Wharton, apply ED. You have strong stats and good But not great awards, good chance they’d grab you. The RD pile could well have quite a few who look very similar and they won’t take you all.

If you’re an ORM and/or from an overrepresented state, I’d especially suggest ED.

If those are your only ECs, your chances at Harvard, Standford, MIT, and Wharton are not very good…

They aren’t; I have a couple of more I’ve gotten 1st place at state/top 20 at nationals in, but they aren’t business/math related. I didn’t feel like typing up a laundry list of a bunch of extracurriculars that I didn’t have major achievements in. Thanks for the advice.
