Wharton ED?

I am applying to Wharton ED, I was wondering what any of you thought my chances were.

I'm ranked 118 out of 636, putting me in the top 18th percentile. This is due to me transferring from a school in New Hampshire that offered no honors classes ( so on a 4.0 scale) to an IB school where everyone takes IB courses (5.0 scale) which means my freshman year wasn't accurately calculated.
IB Diploma Candidate, in the hardest classes my school offers.
I have a 3.78 unweighted GPA
34 ACT score
SAT II's: 780 Math 2, 760 Physics, 780 US History
Work Experience: I have worked as a lifeguard for the past three summers, and work as a waiter during the year.
Volunteering: I am a volunteer firefighter for my city and spend on average 10 hours every week, year round participating in that.
I also volunteer at an after school reading program for elementary school kids in at-risk neighborhoods for 2 hours a week, three months out of the year.
Extracurriculars:
Varsity Lacrosse (Captain)
Young Republicans (President)
National Honor Society (Member)
Varsity Racquetball(President/Founder)

I will have two excellent teacher recommendations.

I can't comment on my essays because I haven't written them yet

I am not an URM or a first generation college student.

So how do my chances look?

Just make sure whatever you do get your guidance counselor to say that your rank is that low because of switching. Otherwise I think on their website it said 98 percent of the incoming class was in the top 10 percent of their class.

She gladly agreed to do that
Will not having any business EC’s hurt me?

I think they care about leadership positions and involvement, so as long as you are a commited leader/captain/president, it won’t be bad that you don’t have any business ECs. However, you should specify why you want to go into business if you haven’t had experience/background in the area.

!!!

Respond to thissssssssssssss

Your rank is a little low, but considering the rest of your profile and the highly competitive nature of your school, I’d say you have a great shot! Like the other person said, make sure you demonstrate the reasons for choosing Wharton in your essays.
