This year I am taking 3 AP courses and will try to maximize difficulty in courseload throughout high school. My dad is an alumni of UPENN Wharton.Do you think I have a legitimate chance. Thanks for responding I really appreciate your time and consideration.

your in 10th grade, we cant chance you yet, you barely have any grades and a lot of people will start doing terrible junior/senior year and you just started 10th so maybe bad this year

You are on a good start. Work hard and you could get it. As far as chances - have more schools than one to choose.

thx for the input. i was just wondering if i was on a good track so far. what should i emphasize to maximize my chances

Demonstrate leadership. Continue academic excellence. Be authentic-Do what you love, find new things you love it doesn’t matter but be able to speak or write from the heart about stuff.

Honestly… stay up with the sports. My son’s H.S. teammate just got into Cornell with a 3.7 or so and 1500+ on the SAT’s. As far as I know, did not pass an AP test. How? Great athlete. Your skills might give you a hook into a school of your choice.
