Wharton External Transfer 2017

Hi guys, Wharton has been my dream school forever and unfortunately I was rejected as this fall applying as a freshman. I was lucky enough to get into my 2nd choice school, NYU Stern. Although I think I will like Stern come this fall, I still think I should follow my dream and try to transfer to Wharton.

My 1st semester at Stern should be relatively easy as all of my courses are liberal arts reqs with the exception of Microecon. Regardless, I think I should be able to manage a 4.0 or close to it if I really try.

I have already started working on my essays and I think they should be solid when it comes time to apply.

My high school grades are weak and I had a case of senioritis :0 after I got into Stern EDII, will these grades have an effect on my chances for transfer admission if college grades are strong? My SATs are about average for Wharton (2200+) as are my ECs (started small business with over 100k in rev, leadership positions, etc.)

Also Stern does not offer Macroecon for freshman, and I unfortunately got a 4 on the AP Exam (self study) so how will I be able to that requirement for a transfer to Wharton?
