The Wharton website stated: Candidates to the Wharton School are encouraged to take a Mathematics Subject test.

For those who chose to submit only the ACT with Writing results (in lieu of SAT I and 2 Subject Tests), did you also submit the Math Subj Test just because it was "encouraged" (and hence, the results of SAT I along with all other Subj Tests taken-- all in one College Board report) -- in other words, ended up submitting everything that you have taken (ACT with Writing, SAT and Subj tests) ?

Any advice on just stay on course with submitting only the ACT with Writing [math subj test was mid-600's and SAT I results were not as good as ACT w/ Writing] ? Your thoughts and suggestions will be much appreciated.

Math subject tests? For Wharton?
Um. Yea. I would think so, seeing as Wharton is one of the most prestigious, if not the best, business schools in our country. You’ll also probably be competing with people who are likely to have submitted the subject test scores. Some people send everything, so it’s not a bad idea, if you can raise your score?

Well, any thoughts on retaking the Math subject test in Nov and rushing the scores? It is a possibility. Good luck on your apps. :)

I would strongly suggest taking the test, especially for a undergrad business school entrance. Try to take the math 2 test if you’re going to take it in November because that will make you stand above those who skimmed by with a math I score.

I have this question too since I am trying to go for Wharton; so I SHOULD send my SATII Math2 score even if I am just submitting the ACT? Thing is, here are my scores:

SATI first try: 1880
Math: 630
Reading: 650
Writing: 600

SATI second try: 1930
Math: 630
Reading: 630
Writing: 670

SATII US History: 600 <– I know… wasn’t prepared for it at all
SATII Math 2: 690

AP US History Exam Score: 5
AP Calculus AB Exam Score: 3

None of my scores are good at all. I retook the ACT last week but I’m unsure of how I did. Is a 690 in SATII Math 2 really dismal for Wharton? Can my 5 in APUSH make-up for the 600 in SATII US History? I am taking SATII for Math 2 and US History in November too, but I’m not sure how prepared I will be for them by next week…

What scores should I be send?
Does Penn know if you choose not to submit your SAT scores at all when you have actually taken them?

^ Yeah, I know that most people for Wharton average around 750 or so for MathII… so I was wondering if it would be better or worse for me to submit the ACT scores without the SATII MathII?
