Wharton - Should I bother applying?

I'm a freshman at Lynn University (in FL) and I'm planning to transfer next year (junior transfer). Since I'm doing much better in college, and I think I've proved my academic potential, I decided to give it a shot now! My highschool GPA was a 2.7.
I'm an international student from Spain. I'm not applying for aid.
My major is business administration with a concentration in marketing, and I also have a minor in public relations.
My stats are:
Current GPA: 4.0
SAT I: 780 CR, 750 M, 800 W
SAT II: 800 French, 750 Literature, 770 German
Extracurriculars:
1. President of Creative Writing Club
2. Vice President of Business Team
3. Member of Speech and Debate Team
4. Member of Best Buddies, organized several events on campus.
5. Raised $5000 for Pencils for Promise (a community organization to promote education in Central America and Asia)
6. President of International Affairs Society
7. Blogger for iPulse (our student newspaper)
8. Member of Cheer team
Others...this isn't an extracurricular I do at school, but...I started an organization (in the summer after I graduated) to help lower-income students in their search for universities and to promote higher education. Basically, what we do is we provide advice, study materials (we've donated SAT Prep books, etc) and we serve as "college counselors" for them.
Job experience: Worked at a local finance firm in Spain (back when I was in highschool), did a 2 months internship for Merrill Lynch. I recently had an offer for an internship with Edelman in Miami (a PR firm), so I plan on doing that too!

Try making more threads, then we can better chance you.

^Thanks for the sarcasm and arrogance.

Sarcasm, yes. Arrogance, no.

^Obviously the reason why I’m making more threads is because I’m not getting enough responses. And honestly, considering the insane amount of chance threads in this website, I expected that.

If you want to be chanced, don’t keep posting threads if you don’t get responses. Step 2 is go to the chances thread, because this is NOT the board for it.

^Okay, thank you. I’m new here, and I saw a lot of people posting chance me threads here, so I figured it was the appropriate one.

You might want to read last year transfer thread to Wharton to determine your chances.

^You could have just said no.

Not sure. I don’t know really and I’m trying to help you out.

^Sorry for that, I’m just not feeling very confident. I do appreciate the link. I did not know CAS’s transfer was so high (well, for an Ivy League…a rate of 13% is…:P)! Thank you :)

if you feel so strongly, why not apply?

If you read that link, it seems like you have better chance transfer to Penn CAS for economics and then once you are there for one year, you can transfer to Wharton provided that you maintain a very high GPA(3.8+).

^artloversplus, I will apply regardless of how unlikely it is to be accepted. I don’t need easy, I just need possible. :)

^DrGoogle. Yeah, I’m considering that. I could get a MBA from Wharton after undergrad as well.
