I am a freshman at Washington and Lee University.
I am looking to transfer to Wharton or some other top undergraduate business school.
My main interest in finance.

Stats:

Fall Term Grades:
MATH 221 (Multivariable Calculus) A+
ECON 101 (Principles of Microeconomics) A
PHIL 101 (Principles of Philosophy) A
SPAN 162 (Intermediate Spanish 1) A
Weight Training A

GPA 4.08 (A+ is 4.33)

Currently I am planning to be a math and business double major.

Member of the wrestling team and rugby club. I also went to investment society meetings but they rarely ever let freshman be members.

SAT 2200/1480

High School GPA 4.1 Weighted (Came out to a 92 numerical average)

What are my chances and what other schools should I consider?

I'd definitely consider Michigan (Ross) because it's a great undergrad business program. If you are interested in Accounting you might want to look into UT-Austin, it's consistently ranked #1 in that area.

Wharton really values leadership, but I don't know how this works for transfer students...Did you have leadership positions in High School? Your transcript from W&L looks pretty impressive...is a GPA that high pretty rare or is there strong grade inflation? I'd say that you have a decent shot...you have a very strong GPA and strong SATs as well. Hopefully you wrote great essays. Good luck!

I don't see how Penn is a reach for you. You've done well, but your stats look more like those of an accomplished liberal arts major. There's little to distinguish you as someone interested in business, which is often a deciding factor for Wharton.

McCombs OOS is very tough (6% last year) but you'd probably be one of the few.
