Wharton Transfer Rate and Dual Degree Rate

Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is for Wharton transfers if someone is already enrolled in The College?

Also, what is the acceptance rate into the dual degree program through Wharton?

Can anybody tell me what the work is like for the dual degree program?

Thanks

bump this.. an advisor told me that they do it strictly based on GPA. does anyone know what the GPA cutoffs have been for post-2nd semester applicants from the college into wharton for the past few years? also, does anyone know how many spots there have been?

A good tip is the search feature of this forum. Most of these questions have been asked before.

GPA Cutoff: Between 3.46 and 3.64 the last couple of years. ROughly 60-80 spots per year. That is, assuming you are transferring after freshman year. Nothing except GPA counts, and you have to have taken math 104, econ 1 & 2.

As for acceptance to the college from Wharton (which is the same as doing a dual degree) I think it is 100%.

If you do doublemajor in Wharton and the College after being accepted to the College freshman year, do you essentially need to do 5 years of school instead of 4?

Don't think so. Many of the College classes would count as electives and such for Wharton. You will likely need to take some summer classes though.

does anyone know how many ppl usually apply for those 60-80 spots?

a lot of people do it in 5 years. if not, they generally take 6 classes some semesters or go for some summer credits. you have to be EXTREMELY organized and plan very far ahead if you want to do it in 4 years and not have to do all the extra stuff.
