Wharton Transfer

First time on this website. I was wondering what would be the probability/chance of attending the University of Pittsburgh, through a satellite campus(University of Pitt at Bradford), and transfering to Wharton? What would I need to do and is it even possible?

get a 4.0 in the courses Wharton requires, get to know a couple of professors and impress them, find a leadership position on campus, and pray like hell

crashingwaves is dead-on and this is coming from a sophomore Wharton transfer.

However in addition to that, considering that only 20-25 are selected from a massive pool (over/around 500 this year), try to develop something unique (for me, it was a business/computer science related research project).

I was thinking about newspaper(I was an editor all four years in high school). I’m really not familiar with what colleges look for when accepting transfers. I picked this small satellite campus over Manhattan and Marist because I wanted a small school where I could concentrate on my grades and this year is going to be my first year of college. My dad went to Wharton and its always been a goal.

Well make sure that you are doing this for your own reasons and not to just follow in your father’s footsteps. If things don’t work out, and you should prepare yourself for this since it is more than likely, you will still be fine. Plenty of people have enjoyed great success in their business careers without going to Wharton. Good luck!

Do we need SATs again for transfer?
