What are the differences between going to Stanford for econ or Yale econ then attending the Wharton School? Any comments

One's in California, one's in New Haven, and both end up in Pennsylvania. Seriously, there is no one on this list who has gone to both Stanford and Yale econ and ended up at the Wharton School. So you asking such a highly speculative question that you might want to reframe.

LOL!!!! mini, replace "then" with "than", then try again. I believe the question being asked (which has been asked before) is how does a top school econ undergrad program compare to the Wharton School undergrad business program. :) I will hold my answer pending confirmation of the question.

hey! I went to University of Michigan econ and ended up at Wharton - does that count?

So didn't you just answer the question that wasn't asked? ;) One's (actually two's) are econ programs and one's a business program. I hope he can read the catalogs. (Still think my original answer was the most crucial distinction....)

mini:

You may be right. But I think Op seems to be an Asian. Many Asians have English as a second language and may not be very articulate in it. He may be asking what is better Yale econ degree or Stanford econ degree or Wharton Business degree (I could be wrong too in my interpretation). My kid is thinking along similar lines. Remember second generation Chinese are learning from the mistakes of other Chinese and focusing on English and history better as that is the place better professional opportunities lies. Thus many are abandoning math and science career for better carrier with higher pays.

Yeah my bad. It should be "than" than :D "then". Yea, I am comparing a top econ program to wharton
