wharton undergrad, wharton grad, or harvard b-school. need answers soon!

Which option is best? i am looking to going into finance

wharton undergrad then to work force and back to wharton grad for MBA

upenn undergrad, then some work experience, then to wharton grad

wharton undergrad, straight to harvard b-school

upenn undergrad, straight to harvard b-school

i am so confused? do you need work experience in between undergrad and grad? wharton undergrad or upenn undergrad better? does anybody go wharton undregrad to harvard grad? which does harvard like better? help!

UPenn undergrad, you mean like the College?

obviously wharton and then harvard. ... yet upenn and then harvard will also be great

is wharton more prestigious than upenn?

Uhh you seem to be seriously misinformed about Penn. I would recommend browsing the website and admissions information to understand it more.

In addition, an MBA is entirely unnecessary if you wish to enter finance. People typically work for a few years after college before attending business school. Do some research and figure out what business school is really for.

So all you should care about is undergrad. For that you have to ask yourself what kind of education and preparation you want. If you want a business degree with practical, pre-professional classes, apply to schools that offer business majors (Penn - Wharton, UC Berkeley - Haas, NYU - Stern, Michigan - Ross, etc). But you can also get into finance with a liberal arts degree, typically in economics, but I know people who've gotten great jobs with degrees in history, math, even engineering. In those cases you can go to any great institution with strong academics.

haha i think the concern is trying to get into wharton..go there for undergrad if you can!
i really think an MBA won't hurt if you're willing to dedicate two years. there's no need for it if you're already doing well.

"is wharton more prestigious than upenn?"
No. Wharton is a part of Penn. Please read up on the school, this is a ridiculous statement. It's like asking: is harvard b-school more prestigious than harvard?

how about you go to undergrad school first then figure out where you want to go to business school, if you still even want to at that point. and i hope you're grades are good enough because upenn (especially wharton), and harvard anything are extremely difficult to get in to.
