Wharton v. Boston College (Honors)

I've been lucky enough to be accepted by both, and see pros and cons in both schools.

I've visited BC, and am very comfortable with the program. The honors program seems like it provides a lot of personal attention, and I would be able to stand out.

UPenn is also a great school, but I only spent 1/2 day there during the summer, so I'm not as familiar with it, but of course it's Wharton. ;) But, I feel like I'd probably have a lot harder time sticking out at Wharton, and connecting with professors.

Is the wall street recruiting at Boston College CSOM Honors at all comparable to Wharton?

And when that time comes, is it better to be in the top 5% of BC, or just an average student at Wharton?

What about getting into a top Grad school (Harvard Business, Wharton, etc)?

Thanks for the thoughts.

In terms of WS placement, nothing compares to Wharton (perhaps barring H) at the undergrad level.

But regardless of WS, don’t choose BC thinking you’ll be able to place in the top 5%. BC is no community college. I have a friend who consistently used to be in highest honor roll in high school and he’s averaging a B at BC.

Unless you’re getting significantly more scholarship money from BC, I would choose Wharton hands down.

Not sure if you’re being serious
