Wharton Vs. Beekeley Vs. NYU

which college would you recommend if you want to major in business?
what does each school specialize in?

no contest , penn. Unless u want west coast then UCB.

wharton...

Wharton by a land slide

Wharton - business
Berkeley - um...education?
NYU - um...education, too?

I'd pick Wharton anyday with my eyes CLOSED. Yeah, I'm that good.

If you were to major in business, Wharton is usually the best in almost all fields.

Berkeley (Haas) specializes in financial services and consulting (usually high tech).

NYU (Stern) focuses on finance (generally in wall street).

The only problem with these schools is that most of their reputation changes when you leave the coast they reside in. Wharton is probably best because it's well known everywhere and isn't really known to "specialize" in anything because it's generally fairly good in all fields. Every now and then you get Stern kids who say Stern is a better business school than Wharton. I don't know how you'd assess the validity of a school being "better" but were someone to figure out a way, I highly doubt stern would end up on top.

Go to Wharton.

Post-Script: I'm going to haas.

i thought Berkeley didn't have an undergrad business.

and if you're sure you want to do busines, by all means go to Wharton.

Does anyone know how many kids apply to Wharton ED and RD and how many are accepted?

1)Wharton
2)Stern
3)Haas
don't go after the US News bull crap. Wharton beats both of them by a large margin. in the end, whichever school you go to, you will do well. I think for Haas you have to apply Sophomore year and there is no guarantee that you will be accepted. if not Wharton, Stern.
