Wharton vs Harvard vs Princeton

<p>but at these schools, i banking is a second choice now, that should be considered. Which school has the best chances at private equity and hedge funds</p>

For this you almost have to go to Harvard, Wharton, or Stanford</p>

<p>I don't know much for hedge funds or PE but for VC, there is disportionate number of Harvard and Stanford grads working in this field.</p>

<p>leo187um, those are for MBAs. The undergrad placements aren't as good as the MBAs at the top places, at least according to businessweek. It may be due to the small size of the undergrad program.</p>

<p>I can say that Harvard has a very good connection with GS. The #1 at GS went to Harvard and has two sons there.</p>

You also have to remember that MIT has one of the best, if not THE BEST, economics program. I am sure that a lot of econ majors got IB offers as well.</p>
