Wharton

Hello all,

I'm currently in the College, but I'm considering transferring to another school within Penn, perhaps Wharton.

Does anyone know how much money that Wharton graduates make during their first year out of college?

Obviously, earning potential isn't the only thing that I'm factoring in as I go about what to major in, but it certainly weighs in.

PS

just look at the surveys on the career services page

The average is around $60,000, give or take a few thousands.

From what I’ve seen, probably around 90K after bonus

Salary of $59,852 + Sign-on Bonus of $8,796 + Annual Bonus of $24,436 = $93,084

assuming you perform well, you’re looking at around 85k for consulting and 110k for Investment Banking. Between a good and bad year, a consultant can go between 80k and 90k whereas a banker will go 70k to 150k.

Look at averages with a grain of salt: it has self-selection bias and averages can be very misleading. then again, my anecdotal evidence is not much better…
