Wharton's LBW 2013

Haven’t gotten anything yet. Anybody else?

As of 5pm EST, not yet.

Thank you everyone who replied to my previous question, you made me less nervous

It is already Monday and I still haven’t got any confirmation regarding the completed status of the application. However I have been in touch with them and everything seems to be ok, so even if you did not get any information, do not worry it should be fine. I suppose they have a lot of application to sort out :-)

Have a nice day!

Near deadline submissions ftw ;)

Still nothing yet, :(

Scratch that, just got the confirmation email and thus, the long wait begins.

Didn’t want to post 4 times, in a row.

However, this thread seriously could use a bump or two.

I’ll add that my app is essentially confirmed as well. I’m already impatient about decisions!

My application was confirmed too!

My application was confirmed as well  I cannot wait for the results!
I hope we will see each other in Philadelphia this summer.

Good luck everyone!

Has anyone’s application not yet been confirmed? I haven’t gotten an “Application Completed” email.
On a side note, good luck to all applicants!

@Siru95 When did you submit all of your required info? If it was prior to March 7th perhaps they haven’t gotten to you yet? If it was on the 7th or even the 8th it’s a bit more concerning. If that is the case maybe they didn’t receive all of your info (teach rec could of not gotten through etc.) then again they could just be backed up. They don’t send off emails during the weekend anyway, so you may you’ll receive one Monday.

Best of luck to everyone!

@enshadow Thanks for the reply and concern! I emailed Carrie yesterday, and she said that my application was complete. I guess I am on the same waiting boat as everyone else now

Glad to hear that Siru! Time is surprisingly going by rather fast, still have over 2 weeks left though. We should definitely keep this thread active :P.

So what’s everyone’s stats like?

For me:
GPA is more or less in the, “meh” zone.
My strong points are my ECs, Recs, and Essays. In which I’m hoping they will pull through.
Will be taking SAT in June.

As for campus preference: I’m slightly pulling towards the Philly campus, I went down to Stanford last year to visit my sister, traveled through the bay area, etc. It was gorgeous so I wouldn’t really matter which campus for me. Although trips from Philly to NYC, Washington D.C. do sound quite attractive.

GPA: also meh… 3.7 unweighted (help).
Strong points: essays and ec’s but I am worried about one teacher’s rec as he wrote it the night before.
SAT: 2340 superscored. Took it twice and each sitting was not exceptional.
Campus: strongly prefer the Philly campus, I fell in love with Upenn when I visited. I also don’t like Cali, I know I’m weird.

I hope to see some of you there!! Good luck to everyone :)

good luck everyone :)

i haven’t gotten an email confirmation yet, but i submitted everything pretty early. Should i email Carrie asking, or just wait? Thanks :)

@tiff123 Hey! I had the same question over the weekend, so I emailed Carrie Sunday. She responded super quickly on Monday and told me that everything was fine.

Exactly 2 weeks left starting from tomorrow :)!

GPA: 3.9 Unweighted
Strong points: One of my letter of recs was pretty good, not sure about the other one.
Weak points: Writing/essays, sigh.
SAT: 2250+ but below 2300.
Campus: I prefer the California campus seeing as though I live here and at that site, I’d be able to visit both campuses by the end of the program.

I’m actually not very confident about my application because of my lack of writing skills. )=
