What a BS Question

I got this one right, but it's these kind of questions (with weird wording) which will end up keeping me from getting an 800 this spring/next fall.

What do you think the answer is, I'll post it in the next post, but isn't it BS? If you don't think it's BS, is there a strategy for attacking these 'wordy' problems?

Answer is C.

I realized I could use some BB code, highlight a line above this to get the answer…the text is white.

im gonna go ahead and say 7. But w/o the warning wouldve said 10.

The answer is def. 10.

Well you were right before the warning then. I just think it’s a stupid problem, and I want to know what others think about this. The bad part is the curve on this SAT was kinda bad…

54/54 - 800
53/54 - 780
52/54 - 760
51/54 - 740
50/54 - 720

I have heard from others that you can get an answer wrong and still get an 800.

It’s 10. It’s a pretty easy question that only asks you to count.

It only asks you to look really.

Lol, I came here expecting some impossible question…Some of you math geniuses look into the problem way too much.

I guess it’s easy, but when I look at the question more indepth, it doesn’t say to count the one’s with X in it…I guess you just need to take these problems for what they are worth.

i suck at math but this question was really easy if the answer is 10

because the 3 is included in the Y and the Z circles…they overlap for a reason
