What a day...

Hey everyone! Man...well today I received some outstanding news. I was sitting in my calculus class at Villanova and an unknown number with my home area code kept calling me and calling me - so as soon as class was over, I called the number back and it was my congressman's office. They just wanted to tell me I had received an appointment for the Class of 2009.

I am SO excited I can't even begin to describe how I feel. If anyone has read my situation, you kind of can get an idea.

Anyway, I can't wait to see you all there on I-Day.

Any suggestions as far as where what level I should be at physically for Plebe summer? What happens at this point?

Anyway, I am off to the gym! THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT!!!

Congratulations!!! They will send you in your acceptance letter, a workout schedule to give you an idea. My son just went and signed up for the spring track team at school to help him get ready. He was out at 6 am running this morning.

Congrats, Nova! A great accomplishment and an inspiration to those who don't make it on the first try. Hopefully you've kept in decent shape since r-day is just 3.5 months away! Hope to see you there.

Novastudent08:
Congratulations! The journey begins and the end of June will be here before you know it. Are you a NY resident? I am involved with the Parents Club in the Hudson Valley. If you are from our area, let me know and I will give you the contact information for your family. Again, congratulations on your appointment.

nyminute, My son received an LOA in March because he was awaiting a medical waiver that arrived in yesterdays mail, so an appointment seems imminent, my question to you is I am also a NY resident do you know if there is an active club in the Long Island area? I think we would find that very helpful! Thanks for any info.

And Congrats to you Novastudent 08!!!
