What a good HS student might think after being on CC?

Every parent who sends a child away to college will feel suicidal with longing for said child. (No CC parent ever says, "Hooray! Now I have space for my crafts room and time to go to the gym!)

The empty nest means your life is over.

Boarding school is commonplace.

A “lesser” school will never turn out to have the most of what an individual student wants; only students who “couldn’t do better” or did not want to take out loans ever go to an honors college by choice.

“If a student does not take calculus as a high school junior or earlier, s/he is ‘behind’ in math.”

I don’t know about you @ucbalumnus. At our kids district…
145. If a student does not take calculus as a high school sophomore…with MVCalculus in their senior year at their local CC or online…they have no chance at Stanford or MIT…

…maybe not even Rutgers.

There is an East Coast. A West Coast. And a whole lot of nothin’ in the middle.
