What about Revelle?

There seems to be a lot of people who love Muir, Warren, Marshall...etc.
But what about Revelle? It would be my first choice becuase it looks more focused on science.

BTW, how bad is this extreme competition in biology? cough bioengineering: premedical? >.>

A lot of people's problem with Revelle, among other things, is the writing, and the GEs, in general. There are a lot.

I'm majoring in Molecular Synthesis in Warren, and I only have to take 6 GE classes that don't overlap with my major or minor. :0

And as far as I can remember, there are 6 GE classes in Revelle you are required to take just for the writing. ha ha ha ha

But if you like writing a lot, then I guess it's no big deal. Everyone in Revelle hates it though.

I hear that passing your GE classes at Revelle is an accomplishment!! But most of the Jeopardy contestants from UCSD are from Revelle (according to my tour guide) I personally like Roosevelt, Warren, Marshall and would rather not be at Muir, Revelle or Sixth.

I picked my colleges by inny-minny-miney-moo. I had Revelle as #1. I am trying not to think about all the GE's, but the one nice thing I am hoping to find in Revelle, is that since it is math/science oriented, the people around me will be sharing my pain.
And, you never know. Getting the "well rounded education" they like to talk about might make me stand out on a resume...
Don't try to burst my bubble!!!

I mostly picked my college choices by the amount of GE's and the less writing, the better. Warren, Muir, Sixth, Marshall, Roosevelt, and Revelle last.

But really, if you're in Revelle, I really don't think it looks too bad at all. So good luck, I'm sure it will be fine.
