What about transfers

i am thinking of going to a mediocre university this year so i wont have to take a gapyear. this is because i screwed up big time on the SAT (1380). i wanted to go to johns hopkins university. cananyone tell me what factors are important when ur transferring from a mediocre university to a top notch one like jhu. by the way the name of the uni i think i'll be going to is fairleigh dickinson.

Well to go to any top notch University such as JHU, you are going to need a high GPA, stellar recs, active involvement in your current school and most of all GREAT reasons to leave.

thnx. what sort of reasons are considered "great".
