What ACT score should I aim for for UC schools?

I am trying to get into Cal Poly, Pepperdine, UCD, and then besides UC schools I am planning on applying to University of Washington (All for dietetics and/or public health policy). I currently have a 30 ACT and was wondering what score range would give me a decent chance of getting into these schools. I have a 4.1 UC GPA and pretty good extracurriculars. Any advice is appreciated!

If you Google common dataset for all schools of interest, in section C9 you will find the 25th and 75th percentile for SAT Math, SAT EBRW and ACT Composite scores for enrolled Freshman.

Below are the ACT ranges for all the UC’s but are not major specific. For the best chances at any school you want to be above the average and preferably at or above the 75th percentile.

2018 Freshman data:
25th - 75th percentiles for ACT:
UCB: 30-35
UCLA: 31-35
UCSD: 28-34
UCSB: 28-34
UCD: 26-33
UCI: 26-33
UCSC: 26-32
UCR: 22-30
UCM: 19-26

For Cal Poly SLO, you can look at their Freshman profile also: https://admissions.calpoly.edu/prospective/profile.html

Just remember other than the Cal States, the UC’s and Pepperdine consider more than just GPA and Test scores. You will have essays, EC’s and LOR’s (Pepperdine) that will all contribute to your chances.
