What ACT Score To Send?

Composite 29 Both Times

1st Time
32 Reading
34 Math
26 English
23 Science
08 Writing Score

2nd Time
24 Reading
32 Math
31 English
28 Science
07 Writing Score

Which do you think looks more impressive to a college?

I’d use the first one

defintely the second one

I have to go with Vince and say definitely the first one… I wouldn’t send both because some of the inconsistencies in your scores might lead admissions officers to attribute your high scores to luck. I mean, the drop from a 32 reading to a 24 reading is pretty staggering. I recommend you retake try to keep the higher scores that you got in english and science the second time around, but also maintain the higher scores you got in reading and math the first time around.

Best of luck!

First of all, make sure that the college(s) to which you want to send you ACT score(s) do not superscore. Some do, so if that is the case, send both!

Otherwise, I would send the first test. Reading and math are the most important sections, and since you did better on both the first time around, send that one.

I would DEFINITELY SEND the first one ONLY (unless a college superscores)

Math and Reading are the most important, but also your Essay score is higher. Send the first ones.
