halp someone.
i moved to the states last year around august because my parents found jobs in NJ. i spent my junior year here in NJ and i am looking at colleges now.
there is one fatal problem that i have. i dont have a citizen, passport, nor green card. i have canadian citizen and passport so i dont know if i am an international, or not halp

i think you're an international.. but being Canadian is not too bad.. a lot of schools are need blind for you guys..

technically you are an international student. But since you're canadian you have an advantage since alot of colleges in america consider canadians on par with americans when it comes to financial aid

You are an international student for financial aid purposes, and for most admissions purposes. Since you have some credits from a US HS, and you will have letters of recommendations from your guidance counselor and your teachers at that US HS it will be a bit easier for the US colleges and universities to interpret your transcript.

But PLEASE find out just what your immigration status is and whether you are allowed to study here in that status. You may need to convert to an F-1 visa in order to study here. And, since equivalent colleges and universities are generally MUCH cheaper in Canada, you really ought to think long and hard about going there for your education.

thanks for all the help guys
i think i am either a TD or TN visa. there are so many of them.. way too many to be healthy.
so i am an international student from Canada which is not so bad but regarding financial aid. do schools even offer financial aid to internationals?
a large portion of whether i go to a certain college or not is financial aid.

true but i would rather use Canada as a safety i would go to college here as my first choice.

Canadians are recognized as internationals.
And there are certain schools that offer need-blind FA policy to Canadians.
