I want to major in economics and I'm a sophomore. I'm currently taking 2 AP classes (Computer Science A, European History). What other AP classes should I take instead of AP Economics?

What kind of classes do you like/what are you good at?

Are you willing to put in a lot of work or do you want an “easy AP”?

i’m willing to put a lot of work. I work very hard. I’m very good at math and science (A student). I’m good in History and Foreign Languages (A- student). I’m OK at English (A-/B+ student).

I would suggest AP sciences then, maybe Biology, Chemistry, or (if you want to put in a LOT of work) Physics. Environmental if you want a little less work, but still a science. Calc and Stat are the maths, so you’d probably flourish in them. AP US History is hard work (at least at my school), but rewarding if you enjoy history. Any AP language is difficult, so whichever language you are taking you could take as an AP. Psych and Human Geography are easier APs, but they could as social studies classes, so they are easy. And AP Language and Lit are both work, but fun if you love English (like me).

You should like a good student, so really any AP you want to take shouldn’t be that hard. Good luck.
