I got my course card for my senior year, and i am going to be taking the following:
AP Lit or DE Comp
AP macro
AP Gov/Micro (each class is a semester long and usually take together)
AP Calculus
Acting
and for science i have a choice between:
AP bio
AP chem
DE Marine Science
I have more choices as to what science class to take, but ive narrowed them down to these as these are the only ones i am interested in. i just dont know which one to take! im equally interested in all of them and ive heard that AP Chem is hard, but the teacher is GREAT, which is the main reason why i put down that class
(I want to major in Finance which is the reason why im taking macro and micro, and the university i will most likely go to accepts the college credit for Calc, Macro and Micro so i wouldnt have to take them again as long as i pass the test)
It really doesn’t matter. I would go with whichever one you more interested in. If you are more interested in Chemistry and don’t mind the extra work, go for it. Otherwise, take AP Biology or Marine Science (I suggest the former since it’s an AP course, but if you are more interested in the latter, by all means take that).
None of them look better than the others since they are not significantly related to Finance. If you want to develop critical thinking skills that would serve you well in your intended field, however, take AP Chemistry.
I’d take one of the AP classes. It does not matter which one; take the one that interests you more.
I would go for one of the AP ones, but the one that interests you. Determine which one suits you better. They’re both hard, I mean no AP class is easy. Just make sure you’re just going to enjoy it, even if its slightly.
