I am currently a junior deciding what classes I want to take my senior year. I am sure this question gets asked a lot, but what AP science class should I take? I definitely want to pursue some science related career; but, as of now, I haven't taken any AP science classes, just 3 pre-AP (bio, physics, and currently chem). I have a 4.3 GPA.

As of now, this is what my senior schedule looks like:
AP Psychology
AP Lit
AP Calc AB
(possibly) Biotech
Honors Internship
Government/Economics (each a semester)

I am deciding between all of these:
AP Biology: I really like biology, but I heard the teacher isn't very good.
AP Physics: This would be the first year it is offered at my school, so I am kind of hesitant. I do not really like physics, but I am really good at it.
AP Chemistry: I also really like chemistry, but I have this teacher right now for Pre-AP Chem. I am doing well and she is a great teacher, but she has very difficult classes.
AP Environmental Science: I really like the teacher, except she gives out an unbelievable amount of work.

So, basically, if you have or haven't taken any of these classes I would love to hear your opinion! Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks a bunch :)

Take AP Envi Science, because if you truly like a teacher, then you will see yourself striving to do your very best. Vice versa if its for a teacher you dislike.

Take AP Chem. The fact that she’s good and difficult mist mean she’s an excellent teacher. I understand you like bio but then you’re just better off taking it in college with a better teacher. environmental science is a joke of a ap. Not many take it seriously. And you don’t want to be self studying ap physics even if you’re good at physics. It’s pretty hard.

Unless the teacher is close to if not the favorite that you’ve ever had, I would say “No” to Environmental Science. That much work for a class that may or may not actually be worth anything sounds unreasonable. Unless you’re looking to maintain your GPA with a bit less work, then I would say AP Chem. Otherwise, consider AP Bio; its concepts are mostly fairly easy (I’m in it at the moment), with a few exceptions, but there is so. Much. Reading. That’s due to change next year, apparently, but I’m not sure how much of an effect that will have on the difficulty of the class. Best of luck.
