What APs does your school offer?

Kind of limited:

AP Bio
AP Chem
AP Physics C: Mech
AP Stats
AP Calc AB
AP English
APUSH
AP French
AP Psych
AP Macroecon

AP USH
AP Gov
AP English (no specific lit/lang)
AP Calc AB
AP Spanish
AP French
AP Studio Art

You’re not allowed to take an AP until junior year at my school but then the following are offered:
AP Bio
AP Econ (covers both Micro and Macro)
AP Chem
AP US History
AP World History
AP European History
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics B
AP Physics C
AP Spanish Lit
AP Spanish Lang
AP French Lit
AP French Lang
AP Latin
AP Computer Science AB
AP Stat
AP Environmental Science
AP Music Theory
AP Psychology
AP Japanese
AP Government

Then, senior year, AP English is offered.

We’re also only allowed to take a maximum of 3 AP courses a year, so pretty much few people graduate with more than 6 APs. Most kids only take 4-5 AP classes before graduation.

I think I have all y’all beat when it comes to brevity of options.

Calc
History
Biology
Chemistry
Lit
Spanish

TADA! And no honors classes either. There are options for online courses also. We aren’t really restrictive, I don’t think they allow many people to take more than one AP sophomore year and taking them freshman year is basically impossible because of pre-reqs. And AP lit is a senior english alternative.

for the 2008-2009 year, the courses offered were:
AP Biology
AP Calculus AB
AP Chemistry
AP English Lang
AP English Lit
AP Comp Gov
AP US Gov
AP Music Theory
AP Physics B
AP Spanish Lang
AP Stats
AP Studio Art
AP USH
AP World

courses that have been offered in past years (cycled), or will be offered next year or the near future:
AP Environmental
AP Psych
AP Spanish Lang

AP Lit
AP Lang
AP Bio (this year)
AP USH
AP U.S. Gov
AP Calc AB
AP Stats

yeah it sucks

Mine has… (from what I can remember!)

English Lit
English Lang
World History
US History
European History
Spanish Lang
Spanish Lit
Biology
Chemistry
Physics B
Environmental Science
Psychology
Government
Macro
Micro
Calculus AB
Calculus BC
Statistics
Latin
French
Studio Art
Some other kinds of art… D: -is not an art kid-
Music Theory

… and I feel like I’m forgetting a few. But for now, that’s what I remember.

9th-10th grade: nothing
11th- AP US
12th-AP Lit, AP Gov
11th and 12th- AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Psych, AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, AP Stat

11th grade
AP Eng Lang
APUSH

12th grade
AP Eng Lit
AP Psychology
AP Physics B
AP Calc AB

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to take them all unless you sacrifice DE Gov for…-shudder- regular Gov.

You can only fit in four, otherwise. AP Eng Lang, APUSH, AP Eng Lit, and one of the other three…unless you’re a Spanish students senior year, then you can only fit in three because Spanish IV is only 5th period.

@Coraline AP Art History?

AP Calc and AP English

AP Calc isn’t real AP, IE it doesn’t teach everything necessary to take the AP test but it’s still called AP Calc. I don’t think AP English did either.

So… None, my school did not offer any real AP classes.

AP English 12
AP Microeconomics
AP Macroeconomics

physics C:mech
bio

calc AB
calc BC
statistics

You can’t take any 9th or 10th though, and most people can’t take more than 2 or 3 junior year because of prereqs.

Our school has:

AP Calculus (AB & BC)

AP Biology
