<p>I mean is overall top 10% or top 5% in teachers recommendations sufficient to make it to ivys? Or do most of them need to be top 1% and top 1% in overall?</p>
<p>I mean not considering the actual recommendation letter (2000 chars one), what are stellar, great, average recommendations?</p>
<p>Honestly I doubt the individual checkboxes mean a great deal - the letter is what people read.</p>
<p>The letter is the biggest thing! Just make sure you pick teachers who know your strengths and weaknesses well, but teachers who have good things to say about you on both an academic and personal level! Good luck and pick wisely!</p>
