Nothing spectacular,I have done community service in the summer and throughout the year, spanish club,no sports. In the summer I have also done wilderness-type camps.I do not have a job .I don’t really have any hobbies, nothing really interests me.
Nothing really.Basically my only hobby is shopping as stupid as that sounds.I am really into fashion and love planning outfits and helping my siblings choose cute clothes.I thought about fashion merchandising but my family would never go for it.I plan on majoring in econ or accounting as a backup type of plan but will try to get a job in the fashion industry.I also enjoy politics but I would not want to pursue it as a career.
Villanova wake forest university of Miami northeastern Lehigh George Washington, bucknell and Brandeis are all going to be reaches just off the top of my head.
Honestly with your act gpa and lack of ECs I’d say there is almost no chance at those schools. Some of the other schools you listed could be considered reaches for you as well but more low reaches than the ones I previously mentioned
I haven’t visited any schools.I don’t know any schools that are good that I have a realistic chance.I get anxiety thinking about college so I have been putting it off.My parents are zero help because they tell me how smart I am and how I am smarter than they were at my age so they think I should easily get into their alma-matters,which isn’t the case. When I tell them this they accuse me of not wanting to try and saying that I should I apply there anyway but I need more matches.
Boston College in my eyes is the perfect school.I love how it is in the suburbs of Boston so you still get the city vibe and how it has a football team without it being overwhelming.I am a legacy but I know I can’t get in.The reason I have so many “reaches” is because my family thinks that other schools aren’t good enough for me and thinks just because they are really rich I can get in.
Unfortunately as currently constructed I think there is very little chance you would get into BC. I would do research on schools like BC but less competitive to get into where you might have a better chance at getting in. Of course this isn’t to say you can’t get into BC it’s just very very unlikely with your current gpa, lack of Ecs and ACT. There probably are schools where if you can pay fully without needing any aid that might be enough to get you in but BC is definitely not one of them.
You have a shot at Marist, Siena, Elon and Loyola. Perhaps add Fairfield and Providence. For most of the others you need at least 3 more pts on the ACT to be in the game
How many times have you taken the ACT? Have you taken the SAT? I would study for one or the other and take it again. If you can raise your score to 29-30, a lot more doors will open for you.
These schools are out of reach: Your ACT and GPA ae simply too low.

You have too many reaches on your list to have a successful college list. Your GPA and testing scores are too low. And with no ECs your application will not stand out. Take a rational look at what you have to offer to admissions counselors. Take into account your average testing scores and average GPA and lack of ECs. There are plenty of good schools where you will be successful who will accept these statistics. America, Bucknell, Case Western, Elon, GW, Lehigh, NE, Tulane…etc are close to impossible. I am not trying to be harsh but students with stellar scores and GPAs, extensive ECs and awards etc find trouble getting into these schools. Maybe look at others, Towson/Hofstra/UVM/UNH/Temple/Drexel…etc. Where are you from? How far do you want to go to school? What do you want to study?
Best of luck!
You have time to pull up your test scores. I believe Syracuse has fashion merchandising as well as many other options that may interest you. Good luck!
Look into Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. This may be a good fit for you. Also look into any college with a rolling admissions deadline and/or ones where test scores are optional. In most cases, when you choose to not submit test scores, you must go for an interview instead. If you can clearly express verbally who you are and what you want to do then these may be the best options for you.
