Please give me some schools that would be the best possible Reaches/Matches/Safety for me.

Thanks alot!

You have an excellent class rank and good SAT's. Some of the very top schools (MIT/Stanford) will be problematic, but that leaves a lot of top notch schools to look at.

For reasonable reaches, Northwestern University, Cornell University, CMU.
For matches, University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, U. of Illinois–Urbana-Champaign, Pennsylvania State U.–University Park
For Likelies, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Florida, Purdue Univ.

There are several UC's on the list of top schools - I never guess chances for those.

For Biomed, add Case and Boston U as likelies, Vanderbilt for a match, Rice as a reasonable reach.

Where do you live?

Thanks alot ohio_MOM, makes me feel much better.. ive been thinking about northwestern & U of Ill. alot, but wasn't sure my record was up to it. I'll certainly do more research on the others you suggested...

Slorg - I live in Texas, but dont mind and would prefer to go out of state. (best if in the north or northeast region)

Any more suggestions would be much appreciated :)

Urban, suburban or rural? How large a school?

JHU, CMU, Berkeley

Thanks AA... adding those to my list as well..

Gellino - I would best prefer suburban.. one thats not in the middle of a city.. but has easy access to a city.... Medium sized school.. 5000-10000.. not too small that you know everyone.. but not too large either that teachers dont get a chance to know you..

Thanks alot! :)

That sounds a lot like Northwestern. Although you are not a shoe-in, I'd say you have a pretty decent shot if you apply.
