Misc.:
I attended the Columbia University Summer Program for high school students, where I took a creative writing workshop.
I also have had a personal essay published in an anthology of young writers' works.
My essay(s) are very good and unique. Also I think my teacher recs will be very good.
I've won a handful of school awards but nothing on a higher level.

Thanks!

If you enjoyed Columbia’s summer program and it is your first choice, would give Columbia a shot ED. Other ideas: Reaches–Brown, Georgetown, Amherst, Williams; Matches–UVA OOS, William & Mary OOS, Wesleyan, Vassar; Safeties–American, Stony Brook and any other SUNY. Good luck.

What are you looking for in a college? Size? Sports? What can you afford?

Matches:
NYU
Boston College
UVA
USC

Thanks for the suggestions!
And teenbodybuilder I’m looking primarily at smaller liberal arts colleges and only a couple of bigger universities. Sports aren’t really that important to me. And money is not a problem at all for me. In terms of what I’m looking for I’d just like a school where I can find a tight-knit community and a great education with a lot of teacher-student interaction.

Thanks again! Any more suggestions/insight? It’s greatly appreciated!

I’m not too familiar with the LACs, but there are some smaller national universities.

Some are kind of reachy, but I believe they’re all under 8,000 undergrads:
Johns Hopkins
Duke
Rice
William and Mary
Wake Forest
Vanderbilt
WUSTL

Thank you!
One more thing I forgot to mention is that I’m not too keen on straying far from the east coast unless the school really significantly appeals to me.

Any more suggestions/insight from anyone?

Erm… one more thing. I did some wacky calculation to get that my GPA is a 3.84, but my school doesn’t really calculate grades that way… My unweighted average in school is a 96 and my weighted is about 103. Does that make any difference whatsoever?

You may consider UMich too.

Lehigh, Bucknell…

Thanks a lot!
Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Emerson, Hamilton, MIT

Ur amazing bud.
