What are good scholarships for me?

I got 5s on my Calculus AB, Physics B, and US History AP tests.
SAT Subject Tests- Math 2 (730), Physics ( 660), US History (750)
My SAT score (one sitting) is 2260 (760 CR, 770 M, 730 W).
ACT score- 35 (35 Eng, 32 Math, 36 Reading, 35 Science), ACT writing -31
GPA- unweighted 3.976, Weighted 4.5, College Core (used for ranking at my school)- 4.786
Class rank- 11 of 741
I'm going into my senior year.

What scholarships should I be applying for? I don't know what school I plan to go to yet or what I'm majoring in.
I would like to apply for a lot of scholarships, but I'm having trouble finding good fits (or ones I'd have a decent chance at).

As @4kidsdad’s post implies, the best/largest scholarships generally come from the schools themselves. Look at those threads for some options.

Thank you!
I’m also trying to look for big or small merit based scholarships. I’m from AZ and none of those schools are listed either.

ASU, UA and NAU will likely offer you near full tuition scholarships ($9500-10000) for the stats you reported if you are an Arizona resident. The net price calculators on ASU and UA websites include merit aid. NAU probably does too, but I haven’t checked it. In our experience they were accurate. My daughter had similar stats to yours and she received scholarships in those amounts from ASU and UA (did not apply to NAU). She also received great offers from out of state schools and chose one of those. Look into WUE program for western states schools. My daughter got a fantastic offer from University of Wyoming. <a href=“Save On College Tuition | Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)”>http://www.wiche.edu/wue</a> Also check into the Flinn and Baird scholarship programs for Arizona residents. These are great programs but very competitive. For smaller scholarships from local organizations–check with your high school GC. If you are willing to go out of state, look carefully at the lists @4kidsdad posted. They are very helpful and my daughter received great offers from some of those schools. Plan to apply early. Some scholarship deadlines are early October.

Besides those schools that give automatic scholarships based on scores and GPA, look at the schools that your credential is way above their 75% in admission stat. You will have a better chance to get merit scholarships there. The best scholarships are usually offered by the schools and they are likely renewable. External scholarships are usually smaller and for freshmen year only. For top scholarships, they will look beyond your GPA and test scores. Your SAT2 are not as impressive as your other scores. Getting a good scholarship is far more competitive than getting admission that you do need to have great credential in all aspects.

Merit will likely be based on the above, not the other stuff.

schools are where you need to be looking. Other awards are often small and only for frosh year…for these, ask your GC for ideas.

how much merit do you need? how much will your family pay?

what is your major and career goal.

I’m pretty undecided where I want to go or what I want to major or have a career in. I’m looking into something STEM, or Veterinary Medicine, but I’m really undecided.

Thanks for all the help everyone!

For top scholarships in a school, they will look at your essay(s) and EC as there are many candidates with similar scores/GPA.

Bill…it depends on the school and the type of scholarship award. university of Alabama, for example, doesn’t even have an essay on their application. Their generous merit scholarships are based solely on GPA and SAT or ACT scores.
