WHat social organizations are at UIUC that are geared to the computer engineer or computer science disciplines? not looking for ‘party hardy’ type of orgs but geeky oriented ones.

background - I am the father of UIUC ece sr . I know the value of these orgs for networking down the line and over trhe yrs. my son does not and so has not tried to connect to these places. I thought one last time while he is an u/g to connect. I am asking in this forum in case there are people who know about what is a good one - searching from experience vs blind googling, the essence of this cc forum.
MAybe thr UIUC alumni network is what I am kind of looking for I guess. but I wanted it specifically in the area my son is in
