I don't really know what else to put? It has been my dream since a child to go to UCLA. My dad attended UCLA back in the day. Should that give me an advantage?

My top picks for schools. (in order)
1.UCLA
2.USC
3.University of Chicago
4.GA Tech
5.University of Georgia

UCLA: Reach
USC: Reach
U Chicago: High reach
GA Tech: Reach
UGA: Reach

What’s your problem with Georgia State?

UCLA - you have a slight chance, if you boost your gpa to a 3.8 and are taking hard classes then maybe.
USC- slight chance, but better chance then UCLA
University of Chicago- no chance, sorry to say it.
GA tech- match, you’ll def get in
University of Georgia- match

All of those are reaches and high reaches unfortunately.
A recommended school in your range would be UCSC

All are reaches, except for GA Tech, which is a high match.

They are indeed all reach for you with uwGPA 3.33 and superscore SAT 1780. Try to look at other public schools in GA.

For UCLA in particular, what’s your GPA without freshman year?
