What are me chances at Duke?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I am graduating as valedictorian out of my class of 400 students.
I am an IB baccauleraute with an IB Diploma
I have a 4.0 UW GPA and a 5.3125 GPA
I have taken 6 APs junior year and 6 APs senior year
I have taken 2 APs sophomore year. All A's</p>

<p>I am president of the student council
junior president 11th grade
I am the president of the ICT youth commity.
I am the prestident of the ecology club and the vice president of the art club.
I established 3 clubs in which I have leadership positions in.
I am a member of the Greensboro youth council and the High point youth council.
I have volunteered in Israel at several refugee camps and hospitals
Overall, I have compiled nearly 400 hours of volunteer work.</p>

<p>I was on the indoor track team in the 9th grade (varsity)
outdoor 10th grade (varsity)
indoor 11th grade (varsity)
outdoor 12th grade (varsity)
overall 4 seasons of track. </p>

<p>Those are my academic, leadership, and athletic stats.</p>

<p>Also,
My current SAT: 2160 ill improve
i have gotten level 5's on 3 AP exams, and 4's on all the rest. I scored a 3 on only two of them.</p>

<p>I have taken 5 classes of spanish, and I am fluent in 3 languages.
I am a minority, born here, but from Jerusalem, Israel.</p>

<p>Duke has been my dream school, and I would love your input as to whether or not I will have a chance.
If not, what else can i do to get myself accepted?</p>

<p>I am in general agreement, the only issue seems to be your SAT score, just study a bit and it should go up plenty. Other than that you seem to be on a pretty good track to getting into Duke, I suggest using something about being from Jerusalem in your essay, could be interesting, but then I am pro-Israel :slight_smile: </p>
