What are my chance on getting in?

Hello, I am currently a freshman at Suny Albany.

I would like to transfer into one the following schools for the spring 2012 semester(taking 19 credits here next semester).

SU

BU

Northeastern

Cornell (CALS)

BC

RPI

UMass Amherst

Possibly adding more later.

HS stats:

3.6 GPA, AP classes, 33 act's 1940 SAT's.
Too many EC's and sports to name.

College stats:

First semester: 3.6
classes: Psychology, Computer Science, Microeconomics, Statistics and Calc I.

Second semester: not yet completed.
classes: Business law, Computer Science(200 level), Calc II, Physics and a 100 level writing course.

First Semester(2nd year):
classes: Calc III, Macroeconomics, Sociology, Intro to modern art, African History 286, and Discrete Structures.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Any responses would be greatly appreciated hahaha!

cornell might be a little bit of a stretch, but you should be fine for umass and northeastern. i think you would have a good shot at BU and BC, but i’m not too sure

It’s kind of weird, Cornell accepts a greater percentage of transfers than BC :S and it looks like I could get into BU. I think that the transfer rate of Cornell is only inflated because of the guaranteed acceptance program/transfer into the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Any more feed back would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

i dont know much about transfers really, but i know northeastern and BU are pretty easy schools you should be good!

Well, it’s my EC’s that got me in to a lot of good schools to begin with, but unfortunately due to family circumstance I had to change schools 1 week into the first semester… Now that those are over with, I need to get outta’ here!!
